Liz Lisa x My Melody 2019 & 2017 prints | reviewing three dream dresses!♡

 Hello everyone…!

For todays blog post, I’m so excited to be sharing my most recent secondhand Liz Lisa purchases, three more lovely lizmelo dresses, as well as my thoughts on them, comparing the lovely details and shades of pastel pink!

I’ll also link my previous Lizmelo posts here too, if you’re interested in seeing more photos of Liz Lisa’s other my melody collab items! ꒰∗´꒳`꒱

♡ Liz Lisa x my melody 2017 print - pink colourway

The first dress that I’ll be looking at is one of my ultimate Liz lisa grail dresses, this beautiful sailor collar dress with many ribbon details…! This dress is such a lovely shade of pink, and matches perfectly with most other my melo related accessories, such as this pretty lizmelo handbag from the 2019 release.

The scalloped collar of this op is absolutely adorable, and such a unique twist on the sailor collar style! I love how many ribbons there are hehe (๑°꒵°๑)・*♡

This print also includes an adorable design of roses, ribbons, pale lace and little My Melody’s with various poses, wearing a sweet flower crown and her own Liz Lisa dress! I love how pastel but vibrant this print is, and the flower arch design around My Melo

How pretty is the back of this dress…! The same pretty ribbon design is continued on the back, with sweet scalloped edges. The stripe lace pattern is so subtle but adds to the sailor dress theme, this print feels like something Melo would wear to a magical girl theme school

I’ve also included a little coordination photo as this dress looks so pretty with this Maison de fleur my melody bag…! The pastel pinks match perfectly, I’d really recommend these two pieces coordinated together

Although this print isn’t so new to my wardrobe, I thought I’d include some photos as it’s just so lovely…! This design features a much paler pink than the other dresses in this review, but on its own it really stands out and is so pretty

The promotional advert for this dress was just so adorable! This collab also included a backpack, pouch and charm too

I also coordinated this dress with my new pink hair and Vivienne necklace…! Lizmelo op’s are so detailed, you can put together a cute coordinate with few other pieces ♡

This dress has a simple Peter Pan collar with delicate lace, pink ribbon and rose buttons, so simple but beautiful. The ruffles are so princess-y too! ૮⸝⸝ >   <⸝⸝

The highlight of this dress for me, however, is definitely the print! Adorned with roses, lace, ribbons and little Melo’s holding love letters with flower crowns, this dress is too adorable… it almost has a vintage, shabby chic feel to it

I love how the letters are addressed to ‘dear my friend’, with little stamps and detailed stationary! Maybe My Melo is writing to Sweet Piano, or even Kuromi? ૮ྀི ⸝⸝´ ˘ `⸝⸝ ྀི

The final dress that I’ll be sharing today is this beautiful baby pink op that was also made in 2019….!

I purchased the bag and charm at the time, and regretted not being able to afford the dress…! Ironically, I decided against it as i thought the print was too similar to other years… little did I know that in the future I’d see these dresses so differently, hehe! I’m so grateful to have found this beautiful print to match my favourite handbag and charm~(ꈍ ᴗ ꈍ✿)

What really stands out to me about this dress is how vibrant the pink is- such a gorgeous baby pink! It contrasts so well with the white sleeves and darker pink ribbon details. I also adore the pink and gold ribbon buttons, how perfect! And the heart shaped lace… it’s just too cute!

Unlike the other two dresses in this review, the back of this op is a little more simple! Featuring a lovely baby pink corset tie ribbon, and simple collar…

A little close up of this gorgeous print…! The ribbon theme is just adorable, and My Melo’s sweet poses look so sweet and girly~ (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Thank you so much for reading this review angels!

I hope it was as enjoyable to read as it was to write, if only liz lisa still released multiple new lizmelo dresses every year… we can dream, right? ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

Lots of love,

Liz Lisa’s ‘gingham cafe’ | reviewing one of my dream dresses! ♡

 Good morning fluffy pancakes…! ♡

Today’s post is so exciting, as i finally got round to purchasing one of my dream Liz Lisa dresses secondhand… gingham cafe in the pink colour way. I’ve dreamed about owning this dress for years, but it’s quite hard to find, and when you do it tends to be very overpriced.

But after finally finding it on yahoo.jp auctions for a somewhat decent price, and in perfect condition, I just had to go for it, and am so glad to have done so…! ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ✩‧₊˚

The main reason that I’ve grown to adore this print is for how retro, but princess like it feels. The little gingham ribbons tied on cherries, delicate roses and array of sweet pancakes and treats make you feel like you’re looking at a vintage dessert advertisement!~

The body of the dress features an abundance of cherries and Liz Lisa’s signature pink roses. I find that quite a few of my favourite Liz Lisa prints have cherries on them, and it might be due to how sweet and shiny they look… or how cute the little ribbon details on them are!

Whilst in my code photos, this dress may appear a bit more of a baby pink shade, but the actual colour is this pale pink! I adore how the gingham pale pink x white colour scheme looks with a simple ribbon and lace trim at the collar. Although the overall look isn’t as extravagant as other Liz Lisa prints, I actually think this style is so flattering and adorable in it’s own way…!~

And of course, there is an adorable fluffy layer of tulle on the underskirt of the dress…! This is one of my favourite details that Liz Lisa add to their dresses, as it just gives the piece so much more shape and cuteness U・ᴥ・U

My favourite detail on this print have to be the stack of pancakes, adorned with honey and flowers. Not only is there this stunning lace boarder, but ribbons and roses just look so pretty and cute along with the desserts…! The teacup even has a golden edge, how beautiful

The other gorgeous details on this print feature a cherry cupcake and another pretty dot pattern teacup~♪ The attention to detail is just impeccable, the cupcake even featuring a little ‘Liz Lisa’ logo! It makes me feel like I’m at a vintage girly themed picnic or tea party

And here’s a little overview of the coordinate I put together with this op!

Dress: gingham cafe in pink by Liz Lisa
Hair ribbons: off brand, handmade from yahoo.jp auctions
Hair clip: Liz Lisa x my melody (reviewed here!)
Bag: Sanrio puroland 2018 my melody print
Bag charm: my melody kindergarten series charm

I really enjoyed coordinating items that fit the colour scheme of this print! Pink x red is such a cute combo, especially when the red details are adorable little cherries… I got these hair ribbons especially for this code, and couldn’t resist a few my melo details

Thank you so much for reading about one of my favourite prints angels…! I hope that your November is going well, and cannot wait to share some pinkmas content soon…

                                                            Lots of love,
