Too Faced Enchanted Forest Collection ♡ review & unboxing!

'A whimsical winter wonderland full of enchanted woodland creatures, fairy tale romance, and sweet treats'

Good morning enchanted bunnies!

For today's blog post, I am so overjoyed to be sharing my thoughts and photos of the 'Enchanted Forest' palette, released for the Too Faced winter 2020 collection!♡

The minute this palette was released, I was so in love with the concept art, and sweet rabbit illustrations that accompanied it, bringing to mind the older Too Faced collections. It's been a while since I looked forward to the release of a Too Faced Palette (the last was around four years ago), so I felt so happy to purchase this release♡

The grey rabbit looks a little like my pet bunny Arthur, and just seems so adorable with their little ribbon and diamond necklace ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

I was a little surprised by how strong the 'Pecan Pie' scent was, but loved it! even when applying the shadows, the powder smells so sweet on your face.

There is a variety of colours in this palette! I love that they included two blushers, a highlighter and contour, especially in this gorgeous baby pink colour. The amount of glitter shades also made  me so happy, as I adore sparkly shadows

The highlighter especially is so beautiful! It reminds me of Too Faced's 'Candlelight Glow' as there is a soft focus to it, with warm toned sparkles. Paired with the beautiful blusher 'Nice List' this seems like such a perfect look for the holiday season.

How beautiful are the shades 'Ballerina', 'Jingle Berry' and 'All is Bright'? I adore the variety in pink glitter shades, as well as the neutrals in 'Yule Log', 'Christmas Cookie' and 'Cinnamon Spice'. Whilst this palette seems to have quite a bright, pink look to it, the orange and brown toned colour would be so perfect for a more natural look.

When using the palette, I found myself reaching to 'lets Kringle' for a base, 'Yule Log' for my outer and inner eye corner, with a little of 'All is bright' on the centre, and a little of  'frosty' under my eyes for a sparkle! I also tried 'Lit up' highlighter with the 'Nice List' blusher. Overall, I really loved using the palette, and the look I managed to create!

The Enchanted Forest Palette also includes a lip gloss and mascara, adorned with beautiful festive motifs. The 'Better Than Sex' mascara is of course one of the best known Too Faced products, although it's not one of my favourites..!

The snowflake design, matched with the pastel pink, is so pretty, but unfortunately I have not had much success with this mascara; it doesn't seem to make much of a difference to my lashes, and seems to just get clumpy... Despite that, I do love the pretty pink colour♡

I was however, so happy that this set includes the Too Faced 'Lip Injection' lip gloss in the festive exclusive shade 'Enchanted Pink'...

I adore the shade and smell of this gloss so much. It smells so sweet, but refreshing! The applicator is so soft and feels well made, and the tone of pink is a perfect berry shade. I was hesitant to try another 'Lip Injection' gloss, as the last one I used was one of my favourites, and I didn't want to be disappointed. However, the formula actually seems to have improved, as it is less sticky and the applicator is softer...! ꒰#’ω`#꒱੭

Another thing I absolutely adore about this gloss are the little details. The gold font on the front of the tube, and delicate little snowflakes across the lid, are so perfect. Each side features a different motif, from a sweet bunny, to scenic treetops, and a magical gnome!꒰´꒳`꒱

Thank you so much for reading lovelies!

I'm wishing everyone a wonderful and safe new year,

♡ Peggy Porschen's Nutcracker winter collection 2020! ♡

Good morning Sugarplum fairies♡

A couple days ago, I finished all my assignments for this year, and so decided to celebrate by visiting Peggy Porschen, one of my favourite cafes for winter time!꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡ Despite the cold weather and harsh wind, we still ended up having a lot of fun, and enjoying the gorgeous décor and treats Peggy's had to offer.

Upon arrival, my friends and I were so in love with the nutcracker themed entrance and wreath! I recently saw a gorgeous pink wreath outside Jenny Packham's London Flagship Boutique that was so perfect, but Peggy's wreath may be even more beautiful...

I also attempted to put together a Clara inspired outfit..! I had originally planned on wearing something to emulate The Sugarplum Fairy, but as it was so cold, my original dress choice wouldn't have been warm enough~ ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱ I was however, more than happy to wear this Lodispotto flowery op which I just purchased!♡

Dress: Lodispotto, Ribbon: Lodispotto, Necklace: Ted Baker, Bracelet: Ted Baker, Bag: Samantha Vega, Charm: Ladureé, Boots: offbrand

How beautiful is this ornamental branch display, next to the gorgeous sugar cookies and gingerbread? The candy cane and Christmas tree treats are so perfect...

The other festive items include beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy and Jolly Gingerbread cupcakes, as well as the Baileys & chocolate cake!.⑅*♡ I had already decided that I wanted to try the Sugar Plum Fairy cupcake, however if I visit again whilst this menu is available, I'd love to try the Baileys & chocolate ꒰♡ˊ͈ ु꒳ ूˋ͈꒱

The cupcake I chose...! How beautiful is this baby pink box?

Due to the current restrictions, Peggy's had to cancel their table bookings, and are currently only available for takeaway. ꒰⁎′̥̥̥ ⌑ ‵̥̥̥ ꒱ Despite this, I'm happy to have still tried out takeaway from Peggy's, as I would have never thought to do so before!

The 'Sugar Plum Fairy' cupcake is described as being 'spiced buttermilk, spiced plum jam and plum meringue buttercream with ballet sugar shoes, snowflakes and sugar pearls'

Although I don't usually go for plum flavour items, I was excited to try this one, as I find fruit jams so delicious, and thought perhaps the plum flavour would be a nice change.

The buttercream icing certainly did taste like meringue, however I couldn't detect much plum in it~ the icing was light and fluffy, which was a lovely contrast to the slightly spiced gingerbread sponge, which I adored! The plum jam in the centre of the cupcake was absolutely delectable, and combined with the sponge was perfect ♡

My sweet friend Sian tried the 'Jolly Gingerbread' cupcake, which is described as 'gingerbread sponge and lemon cream cheese frosting, with a sugar gingerbread character, snowflake and chocolate pearl' ꒰´꒳`∗꒱ According to her, it was delicious! Although neither of us are gingerbread fans, we still found these festive cupcakes so tasty and cute.

Our trip to Peggy's was so lovely!♡ I had such a wonderful time wandering around the shops on our way there, taking cute photos and admiring the festive décor outside various hotels and restaurants. It's been difficult trying to get into the holiday spirit this year, but I'm so grateful to have beautiful cafes like this I can visit, even if its just for takeaway or to admire!

I'm wishing everyone a wonderful day, and hope that you're safe and well during these difficult times.

♡A look at LARME 046♡

 Good morning snow angels! ♪

Despite being busy due to my studies, I wanted to finally share some of the beautiful photos from LARME's most recent issue. This copy was difficult to get my hands on as it had sold out so quickly, but thankfully there were a couple resellers on JP auctions ♡

Obtaining this issue was quite important to me, as it features one of my favourite idols, Emiri Otani, as well as adorable Nagisa Saito who is also from the same group, =LOVE ꒰∗´꒳`꒱ I also love the concept for this issue - the theme of 'tears and rain', with a focus on a lot of the new fashion trends and brands I wanted to know more about, as well as introducing the new LARME models! ♡

Gorgeous cover photo of No-chan...

Arin-chan of Momokuro is modelling, so exciting!

table of contents for this issue...

I am so in love with the design of this Jirai/Ryosan theme style spread...! the 'cute and tired' or 'a little dark' themes for cosme and codes look so adorable, especially with the use of timeless luxury brands like Vivienne Westwood, MiuMiu, and Dior, paired with classic J-fashion brands like Swankiss, Maison De FLEUR and LARME's own brand, JILTU♡

Risa-chan looks so beautiful here, and how perfect is this dainty pearl clip?

this issue also had a feature section for 'Royal British' and 'French Chic' style. I adore how elegant and romantic these coordinates are. I have my eye on quite a few of the &Lottie brand shoes...

One of my favourite cosme pages! The description of this trend (roughly) translates to 'No matter what makeup is popular, I was taught there are individual points that cannot be changed. There are lots of answers to bring out your charm points and goodness' ♡
I decided to follow a little of the contouring tips here, and found Sato-chan's eyelash tips very helpful!

And of course, my favourite part of the magazine! Emiri-chan's pages ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱
Tomoya Nagatani took such stunning photos here, and how cute that for each of the models in this issue, they have a little bio with cute doodles and little facts about them?

As much as I adore the different tips and tutorials on Emiri-chan's pages, I couldn't help but feel disappointed she isn't continuing to model for LARME T^T

Some more of my favourite codes! sunday for both pages seems the cutest in my opinion ♡

LARME also shared gorgeous photos for the debut of 'Miss Mine'....

And of their new LARME x My Melody collaboration ! how cute are these hoodies?꒰⁎′̥̥̥ ⌑ ‵̥̥̥ ꒱

Thank you so much for reading a little of LARME 046 with me, angels. I hope this was interesting and cute to see♡
LARME 047 will actually be coming out in around 4 days from when I post this, so please look forward to that, as well as the festive content I will  be posting soon...! ♪.*⁽⁽ ◝꒰´꒳`∗꒱◟ ₎₎₊·*

Stay safe angels,
