♡A look at LARME 052…♡

 Good morning angels!

For todays blog post, i’m so excited to continue my ‘a look at LARME magazine’ series, with the latest issue, 052. ♡ It’s been a while since I wrote about my favourite magazine, but with the Jirai girl trend becoming more popular, as well as even more famous idols featured in this issue, I couldn’t resist sharing some of the cutest pages from this issue with you…!

To start the issue, we have this gorgeous cover photo of Kanano-chan and Sakina-chan as angels, or as the title of this issue suggests, ‘Vivian girls’. I think this cover is one of the most eye-catching that LARME have had in a while, it’s so surreal and unique!

Also, if you’re curious about the background, i actually used my Liz Lisa anniversary pink skirt!

The first theme that LARME covers for this issue is baptism, continuing the angelic and holy concept. This shoot is really beautiful, i adore the hair styling and Ayaka-chan’s cosme here…

LARME focuses on ‘the beauty of appearance’ here, with an abundance of lace, ruffles, and fairytale imagery. I know I’m more than a little bias here, but this shoot really does remind me of the 1970 film ‘Valerie a týden divů’, especially this pretty black x white sailor collar dress!

LARME constantly takes inspiration from films such as this, with key elements about coming of age, religion, love and fantasy. Another example that has been explicitly quoted in a past LARME issue is of course the 1997 film ‘Lolita’, which is arguably a key component to the LARME girl aesthetic.

The next theme that we are introduced to is ‘Vivian girls’! At first, i thought that this was a reference to the designer Vivienne Westwood, who is especially popular in jirai girl fashion at the moment.

However, the description suggests that it’s more of a concept LARME created of a girl who fights for justice in a fantasy kingdom, a fantasy story of girls enduring hardships and trying to stay cute, despite it allThis seems to be a little inspired by magical girl genre to me, especially the cute ‘weapons’ embellished with hearts that you see on the cover!

Some of the coordinates featured for Vivian girls. I adore the black x pink colour scheme and how on-trend this spread is- ribbon tights especially…!

Something about the sweet white lace headbands with a casual summer dress is just so cute and summery- I’ve previously thought that these headbands only work with egl styles, but now i definitely don’t feel the same way…!

How pretty is this shoot…! I also love the question and answer format in the corner, its such a cute idea. It’s quite endearing and funny to find out random facts about the models, such as that Naenano-chan’s favourite food from Lawson, or favourite social media ♡

Here’s a look at the contents page for this issue…!~♪ As with this series, i wont be able to cover everything in this issue, but will try my best to cover what seems most interesting ꒰✩’ω`ૢ✩꒱

For each model, there is an outline of their cosme routine! I was so happy to see this, as Nagisa-chan has the cutest makeup look and I can’t wait to try it ♡

LARME also break down the various styles that are popular, including feminine, elegant, cute, cool and causal! As i’m sure most readers will fall under the elegant, cute or feminine category, I’ve included those pages~

We also have this beautiful feature for Noa-chan, featuring 100 secret questions…! As I've mentioned before, these pages are wonderful for getting to know the models a little more. This might seem strange for a magazine that is so visual, but it’s refreshing and sweet to learn about idols and insta celebrities
I think a lot of these tips are quite general, such as applying sun screen and moisturiser everyday, however there are some cute things such as Noa-chan‘s favourite hair arrange being a low ponytail! I found these pages a little too diet-focused which was a shame, although I understand this is probably something some fans may want to know?

The next couple pages are some of my favourites that LARME have produced, featuring their ‘femme fatale’ concept with adorable illustrations by Shirosaki-san (@london_222 on twitter)!

I adore the bunny outfits featured in this spread, how adorable? ♫꒰・◡・๑꒱

The q&a for Kanano-chan and Sakina-chan is so sweet, i love any questions about romance or fate so this was nice to read~  (♡ >ω< ♡)
Sakina-chan’s answer with life being about timing and that you’ll someday meet that important person definitely resonated with me ♡

This is probably the spread that I think most people will be interested in; the Jirai girl pages…!
LARME suggest cute hairstyles and makeup for the fashion, such as the famous heart twintails that have been all over social media recently

How adorable are these ribbon themed hair arrange? I think what makes jirai fashion so cute is the amount of ribbons used in a coordinate ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

This spread also includes a basic makeup tutorial for those who may be new to the fashion! Key elements include heavy eye makeup (especially under eye!) and high impact colours, such as red lip tint. I love that each model has a different hair length, so you can still be inspired to put together a jirai code without having longer hair!~ ♪

I hope that this post was enjoyable to read, and that it inspires you to pick up LARME 052…!
As always, thank you so much for reading, and I can’t wait to share my next blog post with you all very soon…!
Lots of love,

Liz Lisa’s ‘cupcake bunny’ & my melody winter collab review!♡

Hello cupcake bunnies!

I can’t believe it’s already February, but i wanted to share some sweet photos of Liz Lisa’s bunny print and most recent my melo collab that i took this winter…!~ It’s been a busy couple months so I couldn’t be more excited to share some photos of this dreamy print, as well as some of the sweet details…  (♡ >ω< ♡)

I’m also so happy to be reviewing the first Lizmelo collab that includes Sweet piano, My melo-chan’s sheep friend! If you’re interested in seeing the adorable charms, please keep on reading… ♡ I’ve also posted two mini unboxings for these items, if you’re interested the link can be found here, on my reels and ig video!

Liz Lisa’s cupcake bunny print op, skirt and clips!~

My first thought upon seeing this print was that it is just… gorgeous! There is essentially everything that i want in this print; bunnies, cupcakes, pink ribbons, lace, hearts, and the list goes on! That’s why i decided to purchase both the op and skirt.

Official artwork for this pretty print!

♡ Liz Liza ‘cupcake bunny’ op- pink colourway

Let’s take a closer look at the print and some of the sweet details… ♡

the first detail that I couldn’t resist talking about is the sweet white bunnies with pink ribbons, adorned with little heart shaped pearl details! I find that Liz Lisa’s bunny designs are always so sweet and remind me a lot of a stuffed animal. The golden fork with ‘LL’ engraved on it is such as sweet touch, it definitely makes me wish liz lisa still sold homeware like this! ♡

And how pretty is the variety of pink, purple and white cupcakes? My favourite is definitely the pink variation with little bunny ears, its just so sweet and a really clever design! U・ᴥ・U

And the upper part of both the dress and skirt feature this gorgeous bunny ear rose bouquet and more of the sweet fork design…!it was so lovely to see this, as so many of my other Liz Lisa bunny prints just don’t have any rabbit related motif at the upper part of the dress. The more bunny details, the better in my opinion!~

And here’s a close up of the upper part of the dress…! ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

I just love this so, so much oh my goodness… there’s so many lovely details and ribbons, hearts, lace that, in addition to the little bunnies and cupcake details, it really does feel like this dress could be one of my top 5 Liz Lisa prints…!

My only critique however, is that the centre ribbon is a little small for my taste…! I do tend to prefer more flamboyant ribbons (Liz Lisa’s ‘chocolate gateau’ that i reviewed here definitely has that ott style ribbon detail that i like!) however, I still love that this ribbon has a sparkly heart in the middle, so I’m not too bothered.

Another reason that i just adore this print is how beautiful the colour is. Pale pink is my favourite shade of pink, it’s just so girly and sweet!~ ♪

I feel as if even simple photos like this with the adorable print look cute! Please excuse my older nails from this photo, i think maybe my bunny themed ones now would look better… ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡

♡ Liz Lisa ‘cupcake bunny’ skirt- pink colourway

In the past, when I’ve seen a cute print that i like I’ve always gone for the op, and sometimes regretted it as I also adore Liz Lisa skirt prints so much for their versatility in coordinates!
In addition to that, this skirt featured an adorable removable apron that was just too cute to pass up…!

This skirt features not only a gorgeous transparent apron detail, but also a sweet centre ribbon, lovely heart buttons to match the dress and heart embellishments all over the lace. I love the attention to detail even in small places, like the polka dot lace at the end of the dress…!♡

The back of this piece features a big chiffon ribbon (that holds the apron in place)~ ♪
I do prefer the ribbon tie on the op to this, as it features the print and same lovely pink fabric as the dress, however this chiffon ribbon does serve as a functional part to deciding if you’d prefer to wear the apron accessory or not. All the coordinates I’ve styled so far have the apron included, so I don’t think I’ll be removing it any time soon! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Whilst I wont go into detail about the high waist jeans or knit jumper I purchased in this order (as they aren’t really related to this print, and were featured in my unboxing video anyway), i did just want to write a little on the jumper as i used it in a couple coordinates with this print…!

♡ Layer open shoulder knit - white colourway

This knit jumper is just so sweet! I really love the lace detailing at the top, and the pink heart shaped buttons. It’s also super soft and comfy, I love how long and oversized the sleeves are! I’ve been wearing my other off-shoulder pink jumper so much recently, that purchasing different variations of this style has been on my mind. It’s also been very cold, so investing in more Liz Lisa knitwear seemed like a good idea~ ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

And before I share the styling photos, I couldn’t resist including these lizmelo charms in todays blog post! for Liz Lisa’s winter my melody collaboration, they released these adorable my melody, sweet piano and kuromi charms! All look adorable, but what is most exciting is that this is the first sweet piano charm Liz lisa have made! ~ ♪

I ended up getting both the my melody charm as always, and sweet piano. Kuromi does look adorable, but I'm definitely bias to my pink girls… ♡

Both charms feature this gorgeous dress that has little pictures of them together, flower crowns with sweet jewels and a little scalloped collar!~♬ The dress design itself is one of my favourites Liz Lisa have released, so its such a shame they didn’t release an op of it! Regardless, these charms are just so sweet. I love the little wink they both have, and blush! It’s an identical face to the 2019 melo (who i reviewed here !) but that doesn’t bother me too much as both feature quite different dress prints. A sweet detail about these charms, however, is that they have a plush heart shaped Liz Lisa logo attached, which is more reminiscent of earlier lizmelo collab items!

I'm also really glad that Liz Lisa have gone back to this base sculpt for their lizmelo charms, as i do prefer them a lot more to their recent designs, such as this 2020 lizmelo, who i do love, but i just think her pose isn’t as cute…*⋆˚꒰ˊૢᵕˋૢෆ꒱

Here’s a little size comparison of some other lizmelo pieces! In the centre are the new charms~
I think they look so sweet together, albeit very similar…! ♡

And here are some of my most recent codes styling these, albeit quite simple…

I wish i could show the shoes that i wear with coordinates more often, but im also worried to wear them in my room in case they aren’t completely clean…! However, due to the cold i tend to wear my pink ribbon Ugg boots with almost everything, so its not so special lol :>

Liz Lisa’s ‘gingham cafe’ | reviewing one of my dream dresses! ♡

 Good morning fluffy pancakes…! ♡

Today’s post is so exciting, as i finally got round to purchasing one of my dream Liz Lisa dresses secondhand… gingham cafe in the pink colour way. I’ve dreamed about owning this dress for years, but it’s quite hard to find, and when you do it tends to be very overpriced.

But after finally finding it on yahoo.jp auctions for a somewhat decent price, and in perfect condition, I just had to go for it, and am so glad to have done so…! ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ✩‧₊˚

The main reason that I’ve grown to adore this print is for how retro, but princess like it feels. The little gingham ribbons tied on cherries, delicate roses and array of sweet pancakes and treats make you feel like you’re looking at a vintage dessert advertisement!~

The body of the dress features an abundance of cherries and Liz Lisa’s signature pink roses. I find that quite a few of my favourite Liz Lisa prints have cherries on them, and it might be due to how sweet and shiny they look… or how cute the little ribbon details on them are!

Whilst in my code photos, this dress may appear a bit more of a baby pink shade, but the actual colour is this pale pink! I adore how the gingham pale pink x white colour scheme looks with a simple ribbon and lace trim at the collar. Although the overall look isn’t as extravagant as other Liz Lisa prints, I actually think this style is so flattering and adorable in it’s own way…!~

And of course, there is an adorable fluffy layer of tulle on the underskirt of the dress…! This is one of my favourite details that Liz Lisa add to their dresses, as it just gives the piece so much more shape and cuteness U・ᴥ・U

My favourite detail on this print have to be the stack of pancakes, adorned with honey and flowers. Not only is there this stunning lace boarder, but ribbons and roses just look so pretty and cute along with the desserts…! The teacup even has a golden edge, how beautiful

The other gorgeous details on this print feature a cherry cupcake and another pretty dot pattern teacup~♪ The attention to detail is just impeccable, the cupcake even featuring a little ‘Liz Lisa’ logo! It makes me feel like I’m at a vintage girly themed picnic or tea party

And here’s a little overview of the coordinate I put together with this op!

Dress: gingham cafe in pink by Liz Lisa
Hair ribbons: off brand, handmade from yahoo.jp auctions
Hair clip: Liz Lisa x my melody (reviewed here!)
Bag: Sanrio puroland 2018 my melody print
Bag charm: my melody kindergarten series charm

I really enjoyed coordinating items that fit the colour scheme of this print! Pink x red is such a cute combo, especially when the red details are adorable little cherries… I got these hair ribbons especially for this code, and couldn’t resist a few my melo details

Thank you so much for reading about one of my favourite prints angels…! I hope that your November is going well, and cannot wait to share some pinkmas content soon…

                                                            Lots of love,

♡ A look at Larme 047 & Péche 001...!♡

Good Morning sweet petals!
Today I am so excited to share with you photos of the latest LARME magazine, and their new series, Péche!
Since the last issue, LARME have introduced so many beautiful new models to their magazine, such as Nagisa-chan from =LOVE and Arin-chan of Momoclo! LARME's cover features a beautiful shot of Arin-chan, whilst Péche features the lovely Kirara-chan.

I was happy with this magazine spread, as I had a lovely Lola's cupcake to enjoy after taking these photos! I feel that (although it was not peach flavoured) hopefully it fitted the cute and girly theme♡

I also tried using Liz Lisa's My Melody 2018 Collab print  as a background, and I think it worked well..! This print is so special to me. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

There is quite a lot to cover in these two magazines, so I'll try my best to include all the cute and new points...! Starting with LARME....♡

The concept for this issue was the false persona/self (偽りの自分)  we can exhibit, and loving your true self. I really love this authentic take that LARME are trying to go for, as I also feel that the best we can be is our own lovely, unique person.

The first spread, 'All About Baby Makeup', features LARME's cosme and skincare choices for a youthful and cute look. I found some of the styling to be a little strange (Aya-chan's clothing choice is lovely, but the pacifier? perhaps a little excessive), but the jellycat bunny plush made me so happy as I actually used to collect those as a child, and treasure them dearly.꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

I've seen this Canmake 'Creamy touch eyeliner' quite frequently on my insta the past couple months!♡ The recommended cosme seems very cute and on trend♡

This issue also features some promotional photos for Péche! ♡

And the best cosme award for the end of 2020, another trend that influencers/cosme enthusiasts seem to follow...! I found this quite helpful, especially including a variety of lipglosses/glosses/tints.♡

Skincare awards! I'm not such a fan of some of these brands (they can be quite harsh for dry skin) but I was interested in seeing the face cream recommendation

As well as hairstyling and code ideas, Na's beauty spread also includes more winter skincare recommendations...! (pictured later on in this post) I really love how they included more information about the models, such as their favourite video games, hobbies and just generally random trivia♡ It makes me happy that they are comfortable to be true to themselves, and talk about games like Splatoon or COD whilst wearing adorable clothes  (ó ꒳ ò✿)

Another part of LARME 047 that I adore is the format for these cosme tutorials!♡ It's so easy to follow a step by step process like this, and I especially liked Risa-chan's makeup style.

I absolutely loved the sisters theme shoot that they included in this issue. These simple and light floral dresses are stunning!♬

One of my favourite themes of this issue was getting to know the models better!♡ Not only does this spread talk about Hina-chan and Raimu-chan's favourite games (yes, featuring The Last of us !) it also features a little info in the top left about what they've achieved in 2020! I was surprised that both models were not a fan of karaoke, but honestly if I had the choice between that or playing 'Sabage' (which I believe is the Japanese name for paintballing...?) I'd go with the latter, as like Hina-chan says, you feel like you're actually in a game....!

As Nagisa-chan of =LOVE has just started modelling for LARME, there were of course a lot of adorable photos of her!♡ I love the cheerleader and maid outfits so much

One of my favourite pages at the end of LARME 047 is the little map of Kabukicho ! ♪ It was a cute idea to show what the models tips and recommendations for this visiting this part of Shinjuku are. Hikaru-chan's recommendation of Cool Beans Cafe, which serves rose tapioca sounds so lovely, especially if its not very crowded!

I'm also very curious about the porridge shop Mell-chan recommends (Otsu Porridge) that is open 24/7, 7 days a week? I would love to try it too! ꒰✩’ω`ૢ✩꒱

After a look at LARME 047, lets see what the first issue of Péche is like...♡
(cw for lingerie photos that are a little provocative but super cute!)

Péche's covergirl is Kirara-chan, who looks so stunning here! I adore the pink upside down heart (or, peach) used to create the cover image. The concept for this issue is a powerful woman who is born from a peach (almost identical to the story of Momotarō) except, the pretty girl is named Péche!

I felt that this concept was so unique, and also empowering. Viewing oneself as a gift from God might be a little challenging, but it certainly doesn't feel far fetched when paired with Mirai-chan wearing this baby blue set from LARME Lingerie, which is absolutely divine...!

I also adored the cosme for this issue; warm brown hues and shimmery products are so, so perfect... (and the hair setup is so airy and light!♡)

I also adored this spread! eating cute foods wearing beautiful lingerie honestly sounds like every romantic girl's dream, and although Péche writes 'happy, angry, sad, laughing' I feel like I'd just be happy...!

A lot of the lingerie featured here is also from well known brand 'Intimissi, and later on, 'Agent Provocateur'! I was a little sad that some of the other pieces were just the stylists belongings, but will have to keep an eye out for these beautiful pieces next time shops are open♡

Péche also made sure to cover the cosme trend of Chinese makeup brands! How beautiful do they look? I'm especially interested in the FlowerKnows pieces, as they seem to be so girly and magical, especially the palette...♡

And finally, there is a spread on Gender that I had to include...! As well as mentioning the gender free concept that others have been applying to fashion, the discussion about what is expected of women in society was interesting to read. It saddens me that there is this pressure to avoid politics as a woman, and get married soon to please the parents (as well as earning less than men, so having to get married for this reason...), but it makes me happy that this is changing, as more women can become successful. And I couldn't agree more that we should aim to create an environment where the voices of everyone matter equally!

Thank you for reading a little of LARME 047 with me, and the new Péche 001!
I absolutely loved these issues, for their beautiful photos, creative ideas and open discussions.
It makes me happy that Haruna-chan and the rest of the LARME team are discussing prevalent topics and portraying such a positive view of female independence, sexuality and empowerment.

I hope you enjoyed reading,
♡ Evie xox ♡
