Liz Lisa x My Melody 2019 & 2017 prints | reviewing three dream dresses!♡

 Hello everyone…!

For todays blog post, I’m so excited to be sharing my most recent secondhand Liz Lisa purchases, three more lovely lizmelo dresses, as well as my thoughts on them, comparing the lovely details and shades of pastel pink!

I’ll also link my previous Lizmelo posts here too, if you’re interested in seeing more photos of Liz Lisa’s other my melody collab items! ꒰∗´꒳`꒱

♡ Liz Lisa x my melody 2017 print - pink colourway

The first dress that I’ll be looking at is one of my ultimate Liz lisa grail dresses, this beautiful sailor collar dress with many ribbon details…! This dress is such a lovely shade of pink, and matches perfectly with most other my melo related accessories, such as this pretty lizmelo handbag from the 2019 release.

The scalloped collar of this op is absolutely adorable, and such a unique twist on the sailor collar style! I love how many ribbons there are hehe (๑°꒵°๑)・*♡

This print also includes an adorable design of roses, ribbons, pale lace and little My Melody’s with various poses, wearing a sweet flower crown and her own Liz Lisa dress! I love how pastel but vibrant this print is, and the flower arch design around My Melo

How pretty is the back of this dress…! The same pretty ribbon design is continued on the back, with sweet scalloped edges. The stripe lace pattern is so subtle but adds to the sailor dress theme, this print feels like something Melo would wear to a magical girl theme school

I’ve also included a little coordination photo as this dress looks so pretty with this Maison de fleur my melody bag…! The pastel pinks match perfectly, I’d really recommend these two pieces coordinated together

♡ Liz Lisa x my melody 2019 print - pink colourway

Although this print isn’t so new to my wardrobe, I thought I’d include some photos as it’s just so lovely…! This design features a much paler pink than the other dresses in this review, but on its own it really stands out and is so pretty

The promotional advert for this dress was just so adorable! This collab also included a backpack, pouch and charm too

I also coordinated this dress with my new pink hair and Vivienne necklace…! Lizmelo op’s are so detailed, you can put together a cute coordinate with few other pieces ♡

This dress has a simple Peter Pan collar with delicate lace, pink ribbon and rose buttons, so simple but beautiful. The ruffles are so princess-y too! ૮⸝⸝ >   <⸝⸝

The highlight of this dress for me, however, is definitely the print! Adorned with roses, lace, ribbons and little Melo’s holding love letters with flower crowns, this dress is too adorable… it almost has a vintage, shabby chic feel to it

I love how the letters are addressed to ‘dear my friend’, with little stamps and detailed stationary! Maybe My Melo is writing to Sweet Piano, or even Kuromi? ૮ྀི ⸝⸝´ ˘ `⸝⸝ ྀི

The final dress that I’ll be sharing today is this beautiful baby pink op that was also made in 2019….!

I purchased the bag and charm at the time, and regretted not being able to afford the dress…! Ironically, I decided against it as i thought the print was too similar to other years… little did I know that in the future I’d see these dresses so differently, hehe! I’m so grateful to have found this beautiful print to match my favourite handbag and charm~(ꈍ ᴗ ꈍ✿)

What really stands out to me about this dress is how vibrant the pink is- such a gorgeous baby pink! It contrasts so well with the white sleeves and darker pink ribbon details. I also adore the pink and gold ribbon buttons, how perfect! And the heart shaped lace… it’s just too cute!

Unlike the other two dresses in this review, the back of this op is a little more simple! Featuring a lovely baby pink corset tie ribbon, and simple collar…

A little close up of this gorgeous print…! The ribbon theme is just adorable, and My Melo’s sweet poses look so sweet and girly~ (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Thank you so much for reading this review angels!

I hope it was as enjoyable to read as it was to write, if only liz lisa still released multiple new lizmelo dresses every year… we can dream, right? ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

Lots of love,

♡Liz Lisa makeup rabbit and heart sweets print review♡

 Good morning angels

For todays blog post, I couldn’t resist sharing pretty pictures of these two Liz Lisa prints, especially one of my dream pieces, ‘makeup rabbit’…! initially talked about these prints on instagram for a mini reel, but decided to also post a little blog all about the lovely details these prints have. Both of these dresses were purchased secondhand, and are prints that I’ve had my eye on due to not buying them when they initially were released… ♪

♡ Liz Lisa ‘Makeup rabbit’ op- white colourway ♡

This dress has been on my wish list ever since it was announced in 2019, but at the time i decided against purchasing, and regretted it. I can’t remember why I didn’t decide to get it, because it’s just so cute…! (ㅅ´ ˘ `) Not only are there an abundance of ribbons, rabbits and pretty lace motifs, but this dress also features a Sailor collar, one of my favourite details

This pretty sailor collar has so many details! ribbon printed lace, a pink ribbon outline, pink heart shaped buttons, ruffles and a small pink ribbon. I love how the top of this dress looks- having a ribbon that is both small and fully attached to the dress means that it will stay perfectly in place.

The back of this dress is very reminiscent of one of my all time favourite lizmelo dresses, the 2018 sailor collar ver, which i reviewed here…! ♪ While I may have a soft spot for that dress due to it being the perfect shade of pale pink, this collar having a similar design makes me so happy; sailor collars are just so cute and girly.
  • ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)

  • The print of this dress, however, is what makes it so special; pink lipstick, roses and hearts adorn the top and centre of the dress, with the word ‘romantic’ written across!

I’m completely in love with these details… bunny themed makeup cases, heart shaped mirrors, pretty powder puffs, mascara and of course, bunnies! ♪ This print is just so feminine and fun, it feels like a design you could wear for any occasion (*ฅ́˘ฅ̀*) .。.:*♡

Here’s a look at the simple coordinate that I put together with this print…!
The hair clips are actually from Liz Lisa’s ‘cupcake bunny’ collection, and the bunny backpack is by amuse!
  • ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾

  • One detail that i always adore with Liz Lisa dresses is the ruffle underskirt that so many of their prints have; it just looks so feminine and sweet, and gives the dress a cute shape ♡

♡ Liz Lisa ‘heart sweets’ op - pink colourway ♡

Although this print isn’t one of my dream wish list items, it is still one that i adore and couldn’t resist picking up…! (灬╹ω╹灬) As well as featuring a sailor collar that is just so sweet, this dress is chocolate heart themed with heart shaped lace, and a sweet girly pink colour!

I adore the centre ribbon that this piece has, as well as the sweet little ribbons on each side of the sailor collar. This heart printed lace is also so sweet and delicate, which reminds me of a Valentine’s Day chocolate box display…

As well as heart shaped chocolates, the dress is also adorned with strawberries, roses, various types of biscuits and an abundance of melted chocolate to cover them. The sweets look so delicious and girly, with sweet details like lace up ribbons and ‘dress up doll’ or ‘love’ written in chocolate…! ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)

Thank you so much for reading, I hope that this was as enjoyable to read as it was to write…!
I’m excited to share my upcoming posts with you ( most likely a review of some rare liz lisa x my melody items that I’ve been waiting on arriving from secondhand auctions! ) but until then, im wishing you a wonderful week ♡

    Lots of love,

Liz Lisa’s ‘cupcake bunny’ & my melody winter collab review!♡

    Hello cupcake bunnies!

I can’t believe it’s already February, but i wanted to share some sweet photos of Liz Lisa’s bunny print and most recent my melo collab that i took this winter…!~ It’s been a busy couple months so I couldn’t be more excited to share some photos of this dreamy print, as well as some of the sweet details…  (♡ >ω< ♡)

I’m also so happy to be reviewing the first Lizmelo collab that includes Sweet piano, My melo-chan’s sheep friend! If you’re interested in seeing the adorable charms, please keep on reading… ♡ I’ve also posted two mini unboxings for these items, if you’re interested the link can be found here, on my reels and ig video!

Liz Lisa’s cupcake bunny print op, skirt and clips!~

My first thought upon seeing this print was that it is just… gorgeous! There is essentially everything that i want in this print; bunnies, cupcakes, pink ribbons, lace, hearts, and the list goes on! That’s why i decided to purchase both the op and skirt.

Official artwork for this pretty print!

♡ Liz Liza ‘cupcake bunny’ op- pink colourway

Let’s take a closer look at the print and some of the sweet details… ♡

the first detail that I couldn’t resist talking about is the sweet white bunnies with pink ribbons, adorned with little heart shaped pearl details! I find that Liz Lisa’s bunny designs are always so sweet and remind me a lot of a stuffed animal. The golden fork with ‘LL’ engraved on it is such as sweet touch, it definitely makes me wish liz lisa still sold homeware like this! ♡

And how pretty is the variety of pink, purple and white cupcakes? My favourite is definitely the pink variation with little bunny ears, its just so sweet and a really clever design! U・ᴥ・U

And the upper part of both the dress and skirt feature this gorgeous bunny ear rose bouquet and more of the sweet fork design…!it was so lovely to see this, as so many of my other Liz Lisa bunny prints just don’t have any rabbit related motif at the upper part of the dress. The more bunny details, the better in my opinion!~

And here’s a close up of the upper part of the dress…! ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

I just love this so, so much oh my goodness… there’s so many lovely details and ribbons, hearts, lace that, in addition to the little bunnies and cupcake details, it really does feel like this dress could be one of my top 5 Liz Lisa prints…!

My only critique however, is that the centre ribbon is a little small for my taste…! I do tend to prefer more flamboyant ribbons (Liz Lisa’s ‘chocolate gateau’ that i reviewed here definitely has that ott style ribbon detail that i like!) however, I still love that this ribbon has a sparkly heart in the middle, so I’m not too bothered.

Another reason that i just adore this print is how beautiful the colour is. Pale pink is my favourite shade of pink, it’s just so girly and sweet!~ ♪

I feel as if even simple photos like this with the adorable print look cute! Please excuse my older nails from this photo, i think maybe my bunny themed ones now would look better… ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡

♡ Liz Lisa ‘cupcake bunny’ skirt- pink colourway

In the past, when I’ve seen a cute print that i like I’ve always gone for the op, and sometimes regretted it as I also adore Liz Lisa skirt prints so much for their versatility in coordinates!
In addition to that, this skirt featured an adorable removable apron that was just too cute to pass up…!

This skirt features not only a gorgeous transparent apron detail, but also a sweet centre ribbon, lovely heart buttons to match the dress and heart embellishments all over the lace. I love the attention to detail even in small places, like the polka dot lace at the end of the dress…!♡

The back of this piece features a big chiffon ribbon (that holds the apron in place)~ ♪
I do prefer the ribbon tie on the op to this, as it features the print and same lovely pink fabric as the dress, however this chiffon ribbon does serve as a functional part to deciding if you’d prefer to wear the apron accessory or not. All the coordinates I’ve styled so far have the apron included, so I don’t think I’ll be removing it any time soon! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

Whilst I wont go into detail about the high waist jeans or knit jumper I purchased in this order (as they aren’t really related to this print, and were featured in my unboxing video anyway), i did just want to write a little on the jumper as i used it in a couple coordinates with this print…!

♡ Layer open shoulder knit - white colourway

This knit jumper is just so sweet! I really love the lace detailing at the top, and the pink heart shaped buttons. It’s also super soft and comfy, I love how long and oversized the sleeves are! I’ve been wearing my other off-shoulder pink jumper so much recently, that purchasing different variations of this style has been on my mind. It’s also been very cold, so investing in more Liz Lisa knitwear seemed like a good idea~ ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

And before I share the styling photos, I couldn’t resist including these lizmelo charms in todays blog post! for Liz Lisa’s winter my melody collaboration, they released these adorable my melody, sweet piano and kuromi charms! All look adorable, but what is most exciting is that this is the first sweet piano charm Liz lisa have made! ~ ♪

I ended up getting both the my melody charm as always, and sweet piano. Kuromi does look adorable, but I'm definitely bias to my pink girls… ♡

Both charms feature this gorgeous dress that has little pictures of them together, flower crowns with sweet jewels and a little scalloped collar!~♬ The dress design itself is one of my favourites Liz Lisa have released, so its such a shame they didn’t release an op of it! Regardless, these charms are just so sweet. I love the little wink they both have, and blush! It’s an identical face to the 2019 melo (who i reviewed here !) but that doesn’t bother me too much as both feature quite different dress prints. A sweet detail about these charms, however, is that they have a plush heart shaped Liz Lisa logo attached, which is more reminiscent of earlier lizmelo collab items!

I'm also really glad that Liz Lisa have gone back to this base sculpt for their lizmelo charms, as i do prefer them a lot more to their recent designs, such as this 2020 lizmelo, who i do love, but i just think her pose isn’t as cute…*⋆˚꒰ˊૢᵕˋૢෆ꒱

Here’s a little size comparison of some other lizmelo pieces! In the centre are the new charms~
I think they look so sweet together, albeit very similar…! ♡

And here are some of my most recent codes styling these, albeit quite simple…

I wish i could show the shoes that i wear with coordinates more often, but im also worried to wear them in my room in case they aren’t completely clean…! However, due to the cold i tend to wear my pink ribbon Ugg boots with almost everything, so its not so special lol :>
