Bisoulovely x Madoka Magica ♡ unboxing & review

 Good morning everybun!

For today's blog post, I’m so excited to be sharing my thoughts on the new Bisoulovely X Madoka Magica collaboration!♡

This exciting collaboration was announced (coincidentally in time with the new Madoka Magica movie) this month. The collection features jewellery of the 5 main girls; Mami, Sayaka, Homura, Kyoko and of course, Madoka!!~ ♪ I just filmed a unboxing video on my Instagram, so I will leave the link here if you want to check that out to to see the pieces in detail on video. You can follow Bisoulovely here for more details about the release dates~ ♪ The current release date for this collection is eighth of September and the pre-orders are open right now, so if you see anything you’d like in this post, it’s available for sale now!~

Although this post includes gifted items from Bisoulovely, all my thoughts on my own, and I will be giving an honest review and opinion of this collection♡

The first thing upon receiving this package that I noticed is how beautiful the packaging is. I adore the baby pink box  and I also love the moon and star wrapping paper!~This packaging really makes you feel that Bisoulovely cares about their customers and put so much effort into the design so that when you open it it feels like a happy present♡ I really appreciate small details like this as I think this is what distinguishes a luxury jewellery brand from a regular cute brand.

Of course, the next thing that I noticed was how adorable this Bisoulovely x Madoka Magica box is!~ The artwork on these boxes is from the Madomagi anime and I remember as a child I had this art as a wall scroll on my wall. This is so nostalgic and cute and such a good choice for the jewelry collection box. I also really appreciate how colourful it is♡ I’m really excited to display this box on my Madoka Magica figure collection shelf hehe!

Of course, I instantly fell in love with this beautiful Madoka ring♡ The colour choice is really elegant, with the rose gold and pastel pink details as well as beautiful, small, white gems. I really love how the side of the ring has little ribbons, reminiscent of Madoka’s dress with ribbons on the side and a tear shape gem similar to her soul gem. The ribbon on the top of the ring also reminds me of how Madoka wears her soul gem with a ribbon round her neck. Quality wise, this ring feels really comfortable and fit is perfect. It feels like a really beautiful well-made ring and I think that is what separates Bisoulovely from other cute anime-type jewellery brands…

One major concern with anime related goods is that they are not always very versatile and can sometimes clash with your regular clothes. This is the exact opposite from the jewellery Bisoulovely makes!~ ♪  I am confident I can wear this ring with any dress in my wardrobe and it will match perfectly. This design is so perfect for girls who love cute and sweet things. I think that a lot of people will love this jewellery line, even if you don’t know this anime… although if you don’t know MadoMagi please watch it hehe

Overall, I would absolutely recommend this collection to any MadoMagi fan.
The pieces I was sent are so beautiful and the quality is amazing~ I will definitely be recommending Bisoulovely to all of my friends who ask me and wearing these pieces in my next Instagram posts hehe♡

Thank you so much for reading, I hope this inspires you to have a look at Bisoulovely angels~

Lots of love,

♡ A day at Universal Studios Japan! | Winter 2022 ♡

Good morning everybun~♪

For today’s blog post, I’m so excited to share all the details about my most recent (and first!) trip to Universal Studios Japan…! ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ✩‧₊˚ We had such an incredible time there, and it was so unique…!♡

Although I’m not a huge minions fan, I do love this unicorn character, hehe!

♡ Travelling to USJ ♡

We travelled from our hotel in Kyoto to Osaka (where USJ is located) via the train, and took the JR Kyoto line…! ♪ It only took about half an hour to get to Osaka, and another 25 minutes to USJ. Once we arrived in Osaka, it was so lovely to just explore a little and check out all the shops before entering the park. There was even a Tully's Coffee shop where we tried the limited seasonal drinks, so refreshing~ I’d really recommend checking the cafe’s around the park before visiting, as there is no queue for them, and they have good options for cute and veggie/vegan things, such as this açai berry smoothie…!

♡ New York & Hollywood area ♡

So honestly, while I was walking around here it was a little overwhelming due to how big the park was and crowded…! Despite that, we didn’t have to queue at the park gates, yay!~♪
The first thing I noticed was the Jujitsu Kaisen section of the park, it was so cool…! There were many pillars with artwork of the characters, character goods in the shop, food related to the series, and of course, themed activities too! Of course, I had to take a photo with bae, hehe…!

This section of the park changes quite a lot, and I was a little disappointed that we had missed the Demon Slayer theme. However, this was still so cool to see…! I really loved seeing the New York style decorations around this area, especially Spider Man!

There was also this huge Christmas tree, which was so beautiful and festive! The whole tree was covered with sparkling lights, which looked so pretty later on that day~♪

♡ Harry Potter area ♡

I didn’t expect to really spend much time looking around this part of the park, but strangely it was actually really fun and well made? I’m not really a Harry Potter fan because of the author, but I do love fantasy so thought I’d have fun and try out being a Hogwarts transfer student for the day, hehe…

The castle looked absolutely incredible ! I really loved all the small details and how all the main buildings from the series had been included. The traditional sweets shops, pub and cobbled streets were all so cute! There was also a live show, where students from each house preformed a dance~♪

We then decided to visit the food hall, as it looked just like the movies…! As it was quite a sunny day, it also seemed like a good idea to sit inside where you could rest. There was pretty much only meat options for sale, but thankfully I spotted a couple dessert options we could share♡

I tried this lemonade, and it was quite refreshing and nice! You had the option to buy drinks in either this Harry Potter themed cup, or a plastic butterbeer cup. I chose this one as I’d already had butterbeer as a child and didn’t quite feel like trying it again, hehe…! The hall was also so beautiful, although we were so tired after queuing for a long time~

Here is what I chose! This dessert took a while to arrive as it is a smoking cauldron, and looked amazing…! Perfect for photos if you’re dressing up as a character. This is a lemon flavoured sponge cake~ Unfortunately, I can’t say that it tasted all that great… the sponge was very dry, not fresh at all and the cream/sauce tasted synthetic. I’d only really recommend this for photos~♪

I took some photos with my Jyushi plush, since he matches the dessert so well ♡

♡ overall thoughts and rating of this park ♡

Overall, I enjoyed visiting Universal Studios Japan! There were many cute things to look at and despite the crowds, we had a great day. However, because of the crowds, we weren’t able to do any rides or properly enjoy a lot of the attractions, and queuing for snacks that were overpriced but did not taste nice wasn’t so good. Actually, we ended up leaving early to go back to Kyoto, as there were just much more fun things to do there…!~♪ I also didn’t end up buying anything from this theme park as the merchandise wasn’t very cute.

So whilst I’d recommend this park, I’d say that Disney and Puroland are far better theme parks to visit in Japan! This is mainly because I found the shopping, food and drink options much better in those parks, but if you’re not a vegan and like meat perhaps you’d not be bothered by this. And if you do visit Universal Studios here, maybe try not to go on a weekend. I think next time I’m in Japan, I’ll give this park one more try when it’s a weekday.

Thank you so much for reading…! ♡

♡ Mama chapp doll unboxing! | Moko-chan - 1/6 - Kindergarten Ver. Rabbit Set ♡

 Hello cuties!♡

For todays blog post, I’m so excited to share a review of this adorable mama chapp doll that i recently found secondhand on mercari.jp, via buyee.jp…! Actually, this purchase was kind of lucky as recently I’ve been saving for my holiday and hadn’t been checking mercari obsessively everyday like I used to, but thankfully saw this listing in time!~♪

I’ve had this doll on my wishlist for quite some time, praying that she would show up for a good price one day…. and she did! She was only ¥4,980 yen (approx £31) without shipping, and shipping was £17, which is a little steep, but worth it for the total cost of this doll~♪

 Company photos

This sweet doll was released in 2007, and has two variants: the rabbit set and chick set. As you can see, i bought the rabbit set…!♪ Other than the adorable bunny theme, I also adore this set because of her baby pink x red outfit, the colour scheme is too adorable. She also has this sweet tulip pocket, matching with her friend!

One thing that I love about mama chapp dolls is that they look so cute with the variant doll of the set, like sisters or friends…! It’s a great series for picky doll collectors, because if you love a dolls design but don’t like a particular variant, there’s usually at least one or two more varieties with different outfit and hair colours!

Now that I've shown the company photos, lets look at Moko-chan irl…!♡

Although I adore many features these dolls have, their boxes aren’t one of them…! They’re very plain and the colour isn’t so cute. However, that doesn’t really bother me as I’m not someone who displays their dolls in-box.

My first impression is… waaaa she’s so cute!!~ as always, the detail in Mama chapp dolls is incredible. In my previous post, I mentioned that they have a obitsu 11 body, so she can share clothes with my other dolls!

Her shirt has this sweet Peter Pan collar, with a little bunny pin that has her name on it. this is probably a little nitpicky, but despite this doll sculpt being called Moko, it would be nice if each doll had a different name, for displaying purposes- but then again, it doesn’t really matter ♪

Here’s a little close up of all the accessories included in this set. The little ribbons in her hair are absolutely adorable! You could display her with the little yellow hat too, perfect for outings in sunny weather, or rainy? Either way, she is very sensibly dressed..!

Moko-chan has this adorable baby pink gingham set for her inner wear. The ribbon tie at the back is such a lovely touch, and matches her hairstyle! You could coordinate this top with the fluffy pastel skirts Azone have produced too…!♡

I also tried changing her hands to some of my favourite obitsu hands included in this set! They look a lot more natural than the default hands, and are perfect for holding plushies

As lovely as the bunny themed bag is, sadly it does not open… fortunately, Moko-chan has a giant pocket with a tulip on to store cute things in. The skirt and top are really well made, with stirring on the sleeves of the top and clasps on the back of each piece.

Her skirt is also high waisted and would look so cute coordinated with an oversized jumper or top…! Although most of my dolls clothes are pink and white, I’d love to try and coordinate a bright and cute summer outfit with it ♪

 Final thoughts for Moko-chan♡

Overall, this doll is just so so perfect! Her bright and cheerful colour scheme brings a smile to my face, and she just looks so cute and pretty

I would definitely recommend this doll if you find her for sale…! She’s absolutely adorable and has already brightened up my shelf

Thank you so much for reading angels…! I hope that this review did justice to how cute Moko-chan is, and that this was fun to read♡ I’m hoping to create a little mama chapp shrine in my room hehe, these dolls are just *so* adorable!!

Lots of love,
