Liz Lisa winter 2020 collection ♡ review & unboxing!

I am so excited to share my thoughts and photos of Liz Lisa's newest collection, 'Tiny swan ballerina'...

From the delicate baubles and sweet snowflakes, to the snowy white swans and sugarplum fairy ballet slippers, Liz Lisa has created the perfect Christmas print~♡

Liz Lisa produced a skirt and a op of 'Tiny Swan Ballerina', both of which are so beautiful!

I decided to purchase the skirt, as I was so in love with the matching blouse (and wanted to pair this blouse with my other Liz Lisa prints ♡)

I also decided to pick up the matching hair ribbons and socks to complete the coordinate, as they were too cute to pass up!꒰´꒳`∗꒱

♡ heart lace socks in pink colourway ♡

To start off my winter haul, I couldn't resist picking up some of these beautiful ankle socks... 

The lace hem with soft pink ribbons and jewelled hearts is so gorgeous, as is the ribbon detailing across the side of the sock! ෆ๋

I'm always looking for cute new socks to match my shoes with, and thought these would be perfect for making some of my heels/loafers cuter꒰⁎˃ ॢꇴ ॢ˂⁎꒱➴

♡ Wabbling heart ribbon in pink colourway ♡

These ribbons have completely won over my heart! I couldn't resist as seeing the adorable hairstyles influencers like Sakihime have done with similar ribbons, I have wanted some in a similar style for quite some time.⑅*♡

The ribbons feature a baby pink satin-y material, floral white lace, and heart shaped pink details~ the lace is so soft to the touch! ꒰* ॢꈍ◡ꈍ ॢ꒱.*˚‧

In the centre of the ribbon is a faux pearl heart with a baby pink gem, and a dangling gold chain with multicoloured hearts; so detailed and cute ପ꒰*⑅ ॢ˘͈ꀧ˘͈ ॢ⑅꒱✩.*˚

The back of the ribbon has a sturdy gold clip~

Honestly, having these has just made me want to buy them in every colourway, mainly white! how perfect would that be for a fluffy winter coordinate, especially with the gorgeous cape Liz Lisa have also released for this winter...!

♡ 'Tiny Swan Ballerina' skirt in pink colourway ♡

Despite some worries with the fur on this piece being wrongly listed as faux, but seeming real (detailed more on my twitter ), this is such a beautiful piece! 

Adorned with ribboned ballet pumps, sweet swans and Christmas ornaments, this print is the perfect addition to my Christmas wardrobe꒰ෆ❛ั ु▿❛ั ु꒱

One of the main reasons I fell in love with this print are the adorable sugar cookies, and swan macaron! I adore sweet themed desserts in prints, especially when designed in such an elegant way ♡ most of my favourite prints have some sort of sweet/cookie theme!

Sweet ribbon pom-pom details! Honestly after the worry over these I will probably be replacing them, but the concept is so cute and they do look lovely ♡

♡ York Tulle Blouse in pink colourway ♡

This sweet white x pink blouse was a must have for me, as it has been quite a while since I loved a blouse this much!꒰⑅•ᴗ•⑅꒱

The pink ruffle and ribbon details, heart shaped buttons, and heart print mesh are all so elegant and cute- I've also become much more fond of shade of pink recently♡

I especially love the removable heart ribbon pin in the centre of the blouse! It is such a cute touch, I might even use this on some of my winter coats...

This blouse is so soft and comfortable, I adore this sheer material so much. I'm quite picky with blouse materials (hence why I wear dresses so often!) but this one is perfect to me, and seems light enough for spring/early summer ꒰✩’ω`ૢ✩꒱

I am overjoyed with everything from this lovely collection, and can see myself wearing these pieces in so many different ways ♡

♡ Autumn at Peggy Porschen ♡

Hello angels!♡

For this autumn season, I was so happy to visit the beautiful Peggy Porschen cafe in Chelsea, London. The baby pink and pastel coloured pumpkins, autumnal leaf display and Halloween themed treats were all so lovely to see and try!♫꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

Despite making a tiktok of our lovely day there, as well as posting a couple photos on my instagram and twitter, I wanted to share more of this stunning decor here...

Admiring the pastel pumpkin wagon...!

The Halloween menu featured a selection of spookily sweet cupcakes, such as a chocolate ghost, pumpkin spice and this vampire red velvet treat!

I adore how autumnal this soy hot chocolate looks, with a brown leaf design made of powdered chocolate... 

The red velvet 'vampire bat' cupcake was so delicious, and looked so sweet with the baby pink wrapper and star sprinkles ♡

I decided to wear one of my favourite Lizmelo prints to Peggy's, which features my melody and love letters♡ The rose details and warm fabric were perfect for the cooler weather, and I was so happy to recieve a kind compliment from the staff (it's so lovely to find others with a love for pink!)

My sister also tried the carrot cake, which had this beautiful flower detail pattern on the top. And before we left, I couldn't resist one more photo by the enchanting 'pumpkin patch' door! The sky made the lighting quite gray, but I still am so fond of how the decor looks...꒰* ॢꈍ◡ꈍ ॢ꒱.*˚‧

My favourite sweet and girly makeup ! | ft. Canmake, Too Faced and more...♡

 ♡Hello lovelies !♡

For this months blog post, I wanted to share some of my favourite daily makeup items that I think you would love~♪

Unlike fashion posts (where I can easily review and try on pieces within an hour or so) cosme certainly takes a lot longer to critique; I can use the same foundation for a month, but only notice the flaws much later... (♡´艸`) Additionally, I was worried that, not having much of a professional approach to makeup, I could misinform you all! So, please do read what I say with a grain of salt, and apologies that this took so long to write ♡´･ᴗ･`♡

With that being said, lets talk about cute makeup ~!ᐝ.∗̥✩⁺˚⑅

♡Too Faced 'Hangover' 3-in-1 spray ♡

I've tried so many different primers, and yet the Too faced hangover primer remains one of my favourites♡ The 3-in-1 property means this works perfectly as both a primer and setting spray, but personally I prefer it as a setting spray, as cream primers tend to work better for me⋆˚꒰ˊૢᵕˋૢෆ꒱ The coconut scent is subtle enough that I don't mind it, and actually smells quite lovely when you are getting ready in the morning. 

♡ Trinny London BFF Cream ♡

Being one of the best natural makeup brands I've tried, Trinny's products are so underrated! The BFF cream is one of my all time favourite base products, for so many reasons; it makes my skin look so glossy and healthy, feels cool and calming to apply, and smells utterly lovely♡ The formula is perfect for wearing underneath concealer or foundation, creating a more realistic skin texture. I love to apply moisturiser and sunscreen, then this cream before anything else, for a smooth and shiny base ꒰✩’ω`ૢ✩꒱

♡ Canmake marshmallow finish powder ♡

As seen as the first photo on this blog post, I couldn't resist sharing a photo of this beautiful and useful powder~꒰♡ˊ͈ ु꒳ ूˋ͈꒱.⑅*♡ Marshmallow finish claims to be long lasting, light on the skin, and sweet smelling with light but effective coverage, and I agree with all these claims! The smaller sized pact is perfect for carrying in my handbag, and refreshing my makeup throughout the day♡ This powder blurs out discolouration/pores without harming the skin or looking cakey, which (for me at least) is hard to find!

♡ Canmake perfect stylist eyes eyeshadow palette 016- Double Sunshine ♡

I adore Canmake's eyeshadow compacts, and would honestly recommend any of them for how pretty and pigmented they are! This one in particular has gorgeous, warm peachy tones and sparkly highlights for the under eye ꒰∗´꒳`꒱ As well as being lightweight, cute and compact, there is also a little mirror in the side of this pact, as well as a small applicator! 

Out of my eyeshadows, the canmake palettes I have are always the most used, as I adore how natural but bright they look.

                          ♡ Etude House 'Happy With Piglet' Piglet Blusher in 0R202 ♡

Whilst I love the colour that this blusher gives you, can we begin by admiring the adorable packaging? It's the sweetest! Piglet is my favourite Winnie The Pooh character and looking at this sweet little face before doing makeup gives me so much joy.♪

The colour that I like most from this line is a bright coral! With my skin tone, this tends to look the most natural, and matches nicely with the canmake palette I mentioned before~꒰ˊૢᵕˋૢෆ꒱

Although this is a mousse blusher, the formula lasts just as long as powder blushes, and still has quite a bit of pigmentation. I also think these blushers look lovely as eye shadow!♡

                         ♡ Dolly Wink brown mascara & brown/black eyeliner ♡

 

Whilst in the past, I've only purchased lashes from Dolly Wink, in the last couple years I've been so in love with their eyeliner and mascara! in my last makeup post on this blog, I briefly mentioned how precise, but natural this liner is. I adore both natural and ott eyeliner, and Dolly Wink is perfect for that! 

The mascara is also so beautiful, and one of the best I've tried; my lashes look so much longer, whilst not being clumpy or unrealistic. The soft brown colour is so lovely, and flattering! 

                                             ♡ Canmake Lip & Cheek Gel in 05 ♡

Despite my love for pink and peach toned makeup, this reddish colour lip tint is my favourite! I've used quite a few of Canmake's lip & cheek gels, and this still seems the sweetest♡ Not only can it be built up, but works perfectly for a soft lip look paired with a clear lip gloss, as well as a lovely blusher. 

As is the case with Canmake shadows/powders, the lip tints also have a tiny mirror inside! This is so convenient for travelling with them, and reapplying throughout the day꒰｡•ॢ◡-ॢ｡꒱

                     ♡ Too Faced Lip Injection Gloss in shade 'Babe Alert ♡

As a product I've re-purchased quite a few times, this plumping lip gloss by Too faced features a gorgeous pinkish-yellow colour, as well as a pretty shine꒰* ॢꈍ◡ꈍ ॢ꒱.*˚‧ Whilst 'Angel Kisses' is still my favourite from this line, the peachy undertones in this gloss are so perfect for matching the Etude House blusher previously mentioned! I'm excited to try the new Too Faced glosses being released this autumn after this one runs out, as their formula is one of my favourites✩.*˚

♡ Heavy Rotation colouring eyebrow in 03 ♡

The final product that I wanted to mention is this eyebrow mascara by Heavy Rotation !

I've tried so many different eyebrow products, as my natural brows are quite dark, unlike my hair. I am so impressed by this brow mascara, as it makes my brows so much lighter, whilst still looking natural, and would highly recommend it for anyone who dyes their hair a lighter shade ! ꒰ˊૢᵕˋૢෆ꒱

♡Liz Lisa x My Melody 2020/16 review♡

Hello lovelies!♡

My last Liz Lisa post was over 6 months ago, so I felt that a new one was long overdue. And what better a place to start than with some dreamy cute lizmelo items?꒰∗´꒳`꒱

Not only did I buy some of the Liz Lisa pieces released in their new summer collection, I also managed to find one of my dream dresses from a 2016 collaboration on yahoo auctions♪ I had originally intended for these to be separate posts, but as they arrived at the same time it seemed more exciting to create a full lizmelo outfit haul.ᐝ.∗̥✩⁺˚⑅

Beginning with the 2020 items, I have mixed feelings in regards to this collab. On one hand, I felt the dress was not particularly exciting, and was a little disappointed to see the masks were not for sale on the international website. But on the other, I loved the Maison De Fleur inspired tote bag and thought the keyring was pretty unique ꒰✩’ω`ૢ✩꒱

♡Liz Lisa x My Melody Tote Bag♡

The first item I fell for is the mdf inspired bag*⋆˚꒰ˊૢᵕˋૢෆ꒱ Having two other Liz Lisa bags (neither of which are totes) I was interested to see what the bag would be like. The first thing I noticed is how big this bag is, and the second is the lovely, shiny gold melody♡

I love how soft this is, and also how simple but cute~ I can imagine this being perfect for a simple summer code with a long dress, heeled sandals and a ribbon straw hat ꒰⑅ˊ͈ ˙̫ ˋ͈⑅꒱

Cute check interior! There is also a single pocket that fits a wallet/keys/change, etc. I do like that this is a darker colour as black x pink is a cute colour combo♡

♡Liz Lisa x My Melody charm♡

The second item I purchased from the 2020 collab is this cutie - the featured keyring~♡˖꒰ᵕ༚ᵕ⑅꒱

I was particularly interested by her uchiwa, as the photo inside is interchangeable with any the same size; how cute would it be to have her hold a photo of your favourite idol, or a loved one ♪

I think the sitting pose for her is also so adorable; it makes me think that she is cheering on her favourite idol while they perform on TV ꒰♡ˊ͈ ु꒳ ूˋ͈꒱.⑅*♡ The semi-sheer pale pink ribbon at the top of her dress is a nice touch, it looks a little more sophisticated imo then the simple white ones some key rings have.

Like the other Melo's from the past few years, she has a ball chain and keyring clip on her back, but a relatively simple dress finish. Unlike other Melos, she does not have a heart 'Liz Lisa' attachment keychain with her!

She is a little bigger than the other melo's, but a little smaller than the mdf one♡

♡Liz Lisa x My Melody 2016 op | pink colourway ♡

The final piece I shall be talking about today is one I did not expect to own, but have wished for years to obtain꒰* ॢꈍ◡ꈍ ॢ꒱.*˚‧ In my mind, I call this the 'Lizmelo princess dress' because it is just so princessy! This is so Himegyaru/kaji I couldn't help picking it up~

As I got a good deal on this piece, I was concerned there would be some discolouration, but after a wash this dress looks almost new꒰ˊૢᵕˋૢෆ꒱ I love the little ribbons and ruffles...

What really made this dress a princess dream to me was the lace detailing underneath the print♡. I also adore how sweet and feminine My Melo-chan looks with her flower crown and wink expression; so perfect for the feminine theme୨୧*˚· I can see this dress pairing so well with so many different pieces~

The back of the dress features a classic ribbon tie and a lovely finish to the white collar (also ft. me in the mirror standing on my tiptoes to take this photo xD)~♡

Overall, I am so happy with the items from this 2020 collab I purchased, and the 2016 dress. Both really do reflect why Lizmelo is such a cute collab, and will be treasured in my collection♡

Maison De FLEUR Rabbit Series | 2020 review ♡

Hello Lovelies!*:･ﾟ✧

Although my upload schedule has been irregular due to the current events. I wanted to share a little haul of a cute series today~

 Maison De FLEUR's popular 'Rabbit Series' was released this Easter with so many romantic items, including handkerchiefs, keychains, phone cases and their signature tote bags♡

As I mentioned in my previous blog post ( on the My Melody x Maison De FLEUR 2020 collaboration) I've been enthralled by the feminine and intricate items that this brand produces, and therefore have been purchasing more items from them!

The first item I chose is this lovely fluffy rabbit keychain, complete with a gold detail gingham ribbon♡

I chose the pink x grey colourway, because grey is a colour I adore, but rarely see presented in such a cute way. I also think the muted tone looks pretty with the rabbit's fur, and gold details, and the gingham print is just perfect for the summer (๑°꒵°๑)･*

Another detail I love about this keychain is that she has joints! Plushies with this detail look so vintage to me, as well as being more poseable, perfect for photos!

And probably my favourite detail, the little 'F' letter that stands for FLEUR♡

The second item I picked up is this rabbit series matte print phone case♪♡ 

This print is so adorable! The muted pink with little flowers and plushies is so romantic and girly, It reminds me of a watercolour painting~(๑°꒵°๑)･*♡

Another detail of this case I love is how versatile this shade of pink is; I think it would work well with both ott girly codes and soft ones♡
